We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our growing Engineering team that is building the next generation of our Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) platform with innovative IIOT based edge computing using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in a highly distributed and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analog, digital and RF circuit design for Internet of Things-like sensors and gateway systems. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, sourcing, testing, and validating hardware components and systems in support of Noven IIOT hardware platform. This position will support integrated solutions design from inception through commercialization, and work with Manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Design hardware solutions from modules and components in IoT space
- Validation and qualification of hardware components in a technology lab environment
- Documentation and reporting of testing results
- Troubleshooting hardware functionality and compatibility
- Field support during deployments remotely and onsite
- Continually discover and research new hardware that aligns with company priorities
- Perform Proof of Concepts (POC) testing
- Work with other departments to support the facilitation of commercialized products
- Provide support and advise on installation of hardware components Document components and solutions for specifications and instructional transfer of knowledge
Qualifications
- A minimum of an Electrical Engineering undergraduate degree
- A minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated success in a complex hardware system electronics development
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Strong computer hardware and networking background
- Strong background in electronics hardware and electromechanical tools: assembly, components, repair, testing, troubleshooting
- Extensive familiarity with hardware design and test tools: power supply units, soldering, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, multimeters, RF probes
- Ability to research and understand product datasheets, author documentation and product specification
- Hands-on experience with CAD programs such as AutoCAD to produce design documents for electronics system, electronics printed circuit board, assembly drawings
- Proven capability with end-to-end management of projects from concept and requirements gathering to development, testing and deployment
- Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements.
- Able to articulate and support your opinions/stance, but also able to listen and be flexible
- Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
